I cannot see all the resource strings that are in my drc. I can quite clearly see the ones from vcl.consts.pas in the drc but cannot find them anywhere in sisulizer in order to translate them?

I have looked in strings, I have done searches of the whole project to no avail. Where should I be looking?

Hi,

We have a good documentation for Delphi users:

https://www.sisulizer.com/translation/vcl/VCL.pdf

One question: Did you add your binary (exe) to tge project, so Sisulizer could find all strings in the resources?

Also make sure your .drc is most current for the build since Sisulizer needs it for proper context.

And be aware that hard coded strings will not be found. You have to "resource" them first.

Anyway the above document describes all of this in detail and will be of help.

Markus

... and not to forget.... there are windows system strings that are part of VCL or Windows localized by the system at runtime. Just depends on the installed language on the system.

Thanks for you help,
The answer in the end was to create a new project and import my translations. I think my project file had become corrupt.

...perhaps you accidently excluded some parts...
Good you sorted that out.
