Hi,
I'm trying to import strings from a different version of our software into an older.

String are at least the same, only small difference in context or value could be present.

In private upload you could see a sample of a string where the & shortcut character was removed. I set the ignore special characters filter in import but it remain empty.
You could find also Sisulizer project file and export file used to capture the images.

Thank you,
Luca

Hello Luca,

Thank you for files. I tested import and I got imported item from your screenshot with "By context" method (and of course, with "By context first then by value" method) and checked "Use partial context in addition of full context" option, both for Polish and English language. It was tested with latest Sisulizer build.

Best regards,
Janusz

Hi Janus,
thank you.

Have you tried to use the settings used in the attached picture?

Yes, I tested it too, and Sisulizer didn't import string from picture you sent. For this reason I recommended using of "By context" or "By context first then by value" methods. I'll ask our developer why Sisulizer ignore strings with added ampersand after checking "Special characters" option in the "Ignored characters" section.

Janusz
