Hello all, My project file seems like being corrupted after a power cut (I finished 80% of). Sisulizer can't read it now. I need you guys to help me retrieve what I have completed so that I won't have to rework on it again, and again. Thanks in advance, Fetra Odilson Attachment: non valide.png (Downloaded 6 times)

Try to open the file in notepad and see if it has still a XML like structure. And there should be also a file with .~slp holding a backup. Just rename it to .slp. Markus

Thanks for your reply, Markus, BUT Sisulizer still can't open it. It tried to open it on Notepad++. No result. Only NULNULNULNULNULNULNUL is showing on the screen. Also, I renamed it from ~slp to .slp Nothing changed. Is there another alternative? Thanks again for your support. Fetra

Dear Fetra, You should always have two files. The actual .slp and a .~slp that has the previous content. Every time you save, your .slp becomes .~slp and a brand new .slp is written. Sisulizer holds all translations in memory until you do File - Save. Then it writes all data to the new .slp. If the computer is switched off (or power goes down) while writing to the .slp the file will be corrupted. You might want to run chkdsk (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee872425.aspx). It is a funktion of your OS that looks for lost clusters on your hard disk. Sometimes it finds something. But chances are tiny. That`s why Sisulizer still has these .~slp. The only reason why this doesn`t have usable content is that you did not save before. In other words you did the job in one go without savings inbetween. And you also never made some other backup. Is this possible? Markus

Dear Markus, I regularly save my work (every 30 seconds = ctrl +S). And I did rename it from ~slp to .slp but nothing changes. 80% done, 20% to go and it was corrupted. I am now trying other file-repairing softwares to retrieve it.
